Soy Venezolana, crecí en El Caribe, tal vez por eso el color y la música son, para mi, imprescindibles.
Soy Antropóloga, con especial énfasis y ejercicio profesional en bioarqueología y antropología forense. Me formé en joyería con Simón Sorondo y he asistido a talleres y seminarios de diseño y arte contemporáneo con Andrés Sobrino, Juan Sebastián Bruno, Irina Fiszelew, Diana Aisenberg, Jorge Manilla y Silvia Gurfein. Desde 2004 llevo adelante, en paralelo, la maternidad y la construcción de este lenguaje en forma de objetos que la sociedad en la que vivo llama joyas.
La arqueología atraviesa todo mi proceso de diseño de joyería. Todo empieza por la investigación de un tema para diseñar piezas seriadas. Producirlas genera restos que recupero y reinterpreto en un ejercicio equivalente a la prospección y reconstrucción en Bio-arqueología. Lo que llamo Arqueo-joyería más que una línea es un método de trabajo que genera piezas únicas y de edición limitada.
Mis objetos-joyas son lenguaje y cultura material contemporánea, pero están pensados desde una escala temporal inmensa, sabiendo que un día serán vestigio para que los arqueólogos del futuro comprendan nuestro tiempo.

Desde 2005 he participado en los eventos de Diseño más importantes de Argentina. Mis productos han recibido el Sello de Buen Diseño Argentino, una distinción oficial que otorga el Ministerio de Producción a los productos nacionales que se destacan por su innovación, sustentabilidad, posicionamiento en el mercado y calidad de diseño.

I have a Degree in Anthropology, professional practice, and expertise in bioarchaeology and forensic anthropology. I learned jewelry with Simón Sorondo, I have attended design and contemporary art workshops and seminars with Andrés Sobrino, Juan Sebastián Bruno, Irina Fiszelew, Diana Aisenberg, Jorge Manilla and Silvia Gurfein. Since 2004 I have carried out, in parallel, motherhood and the construction of this language in the form of objects that the society in which I live calls jewels.
Archeology runs through my entire jewelry design process. It all starts with researching a topic to design serial products. Making them generates remains that I recover and reinterpret in an exercise equivalent to prospecting and reconstruction in Bioarchaeology. What I call Archeo-jewelry, more than a line, is a working method that generates unique and limited edition pieces.
My jewel objects are language and contemporary material culture, but they are conceived from an immense time scale, knowing that one day they will be a vestige for the archaeologists of the future to understand our time.

Since 2005 I have participated in the most important Design events in Argentina. My serial products are awarded by the Official Argentine Good Design Hallmark, a distinction from the Industry Department of Argentina to national products that stand out for their innovation, sustainability, market positioning, and design quality.
